01 / WHO WE ARE
Paradoxium is a rookie FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) team built around creativity, collaboration, and engineering.
We are a team of six homeschooled students who share a passion for STEM, innovation, and problem-solving.
​
Throughout the season, we design, build, program, test, and compete while developing engineering skills, critical thinking, leadership, and teamwork.
Every challenge is an opportunity to innovate, adapt, and improve.
​
Beyond competition, we are committed to giving back through STEM outreach, community service, and inspiring other students to explore science, technology, engineering, and math. We believe that robotics is more than building a robot, it's about building confidence, friendships, and the skills to become the next generation of innovators.

Captain - Programming & Building
Gavin is a 9th-grade student who is also dual-enrolled at Valencia College, with a strong interest in robotics and computer science. As a member of the robotics team, he contributes to the programming, build, drive, social media & outreach, and website teams, and enjoys the hands-on experiences and knowledge he gains. Outside of robotics, Gavin enjoys coding, playing the classical guitar, and cooking. Through FTC, he hopes to develop skills in advanced programming and building techniques, as well as competitive strategies, and explore future opportunities in technology and engineering.

Lead - Social Media
Grayson is a 7th grade student with an interest in engineering. As a member of the robotics team, he contributes to coding, building, and driving. On the team, he likes building. Outside of robotics, Grayson enjoys playing video games and playing the piano. Through FTC, he hopes to develop skills in teamwork and building, and explore future opportunities in engineering.

Lead - Building
Noah is a sophomore in high school and a dual-enrolled student with an interest in electrical and mechanical engineering. As a member of the robotics team, he contributes to the building/design team and the drive team and enjoys mechanical/electrical engineering. Outside of robotics, Noah enjoys parkour, the outdoors, gaming, drums, and soldering. Through FTC, he hopes to develop skills in electrical/mechanic engineering and explore future opportunities in electrical/mechanical engineering.

Amarise is a 12th grade student with an interest in aerospace engineering. As a member of robotics team, she contributes to finance and outreach and enjoys trouble-shooting the mechanical parts of the robot. Outside of robotics, Amarise enjoys singing in chorus and crocheting. Through FTC, she hopes to develop skills in website creation and explore future opportunities in aerospace engineering.

Analise is a 10th grade student with an interest in computer science. As a member of the robotics team, she contributes to the fundraising, social media and outreach, and website team and enjoys putting the robot together. Outside of robotics, Analise enjoys reading, singing, and drawing. Through FTC, she hopes to develop skills in effective cooperation and explore future opportunities in game design.

Lead - Programming
Lily is an 8th-grade student with an interest in the STEM field. As a member of the robotics team, she contributes to building, programming, and driving the robot alongside her teammates and enjoys seeing the progress on the robot through time. Outside of robotics, Lily enjoys creating many forms of art, scuba diving, and playing tennis. Through FTC, she hopes to develop skills in communication and problem-solving with others and explore future opportunities in the STEM and space fields.

Vindeira Resaul-Maraj
Head Coach
Vindeira Resaul-Maraj is the Head Coach of Team Paradoxium and the founder of IGNITE STEM, Inc. She is passionate about empowering students through hands-on STEM education, mentorship, and real-world problem-solving experiences. With over 18 years of experience in healthcare and as a Board-Certified Functional Nurse Health Coach, she brings a strong foundation in leadership, education, and critical thinking. As a homeschooling parent, Vindeira is dedicated to creating opportunities that inspire curiosity, innovation, and lifelong learning.
Her favorite part of robotics is the energy and atmosphere of competitions and team events, as well as watching students grow in confidence and discover what they are capable of achieving. Through robotics, she strives to help students build confidence, develop technical and leadership skills, and realize their potential as future innovators, engineers, and leaders.
